I joined AIT-STEIN recently and I am delighted with my decision!
AIT-STEIN is a company on a human scale with a healthy environment.
There is strong mutual support within the Production department.
It is also a company in which employees, even the youngest among them, are given opportunities to complete stimulating projects.

Working in the pre-sales phase, I have the opportunity to study a large number of industrial processes, each requiring new energy recovery solutions. Each new project is a new challenge, there is no "copy-paste" in this field.

With 10 years of experience, I realise every day that the potential for recoverable energy in industry is enormous and largely under-exploited, that there is still a lot to be done, and it's very motivating to play a part in energy transition!

After being hired by the company as "Start-up Supervisor", I had the opportunity to climb the ladder to become in turn "Start-up Manager" then "Site Pole Manager" and now "Operations Director" at SEY (Stein Energy), a subsidiary of AIT-STEIN.

Personally, for almost 5 years now, our different projects have enabled me to develop skills that are rare in the industry.
The group's strength lies in its trust in its employees and the diversity of its activities.

I joined AIT-STEIN as HR Director two years ago in order to set up this function at the heart of the company's business challenges, and to accompany it in its development phase.

It's a job that I carry out with passion, alongside all my partners, each of whom plays an essential role in the company.

It's an amazing adventure in a company full of challenges!

As a Project Engineer at AIT-STEIN, my daily mission, together with my colleagues, is proposing technical solutions that addressthe various challenges of our clients, whether it is ensuring the reduction of their carbon footprint via solutions for recovering waste heat, or limiting their environmental impact by implementing high-performance solutions for the treatment of their gas effluents.

The diversity of requests, processes studied and industrial sectors addressed creates a stimulating and constantly changing daily routine, giving AIT-STEIN the agility needed to meet the future challenges of the industrial energy transition.

My experience at BFF (Brown Fintube France SA), a subsidiary of the group, was an opportunity to discover a wide variety of jobs.

I started in 1995 as secretary of the production and quality departments. Since 2011, I have been apurchaser and I am also involved in logistics.

This has allowed me to develop skills in negotiating with suppliers and transporters and to broaden my knowledge of the group's different product ranges.

I joined BFF (Brown Fintube France SA), sub-brand of AIT-STEIN, in March 2014 as a temporary Sales Assistant.
I had been working in PVC profiles for several years and all of a sudden I entered the unknown world of metallurgy.

At the end of 2015, I signed my permanent contract as "Document Controller and Accounts Payable Assistant", while discovering other professions by lending a hand to different departments in the group.

25 years ago, a temping agency contacted me, when I had just completed an assignment, asking me to go to Thonon-les-Bains to work for BFF (Brown Fintube France SA), a subsidiary of AIT-STEIN, the next morning.
They were urgently looking for a draughtsman for a two-week mission for a specific task.

The next day, at a time with no internet or mobile phone, still very young in my head, I managed to get myself to this company without knowing where I was going....

Today, I am still here, and I have come a long way from my original mission...!

Six years ago, I decided to join AIT-STEIN and eventually took over its management. What a long way we've come since then with the acquisitions of SEY (Stein Energy), DEFISA and FTE (France Thermique Environnement). Writing a strategic plan, developing it and implementing it is always an initial challenge for a manager. Doing it within a French SME in the energy transition sector by discovering unrivalled know-how and motivated teams is just...thrilling!
