New order delivery of heat exchangers BROWN FINTUBE FRANCE SA (BFF) for liquefied natural gas platforms in Russia.

For a well-known international Oil & Gas services group settled in France, BFF carried out the design, manufacture and delivery of 15 large capacity Hairpin Heat Exchangers (upto 18 inches shell size). The order was made for installation in a fixed nearshore terminal located in northern Russia for production, storage, and offloading of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Stabilized Gas Condensate (SGC).

As LNG is an excellent alternative for reducing greenhouse gas emissions against global warming, this contract is once again at the aim of our mission : supporting our customers in their energy transition. Natural Gas responds to the challenges of the fight against global warming and protection de l’environnement, with a low impact of its combustion on the environment, its energy performance and its abundant reserves widely distributed throughout the world. It is also primary energy that offers the best thermodynamic yields, and the best energy efficiency.

Our 15 equipment will join the three LNG trains. These trains are gravity-based structures made of concrete, installed in the gulf of Ob, together with a capacity of 6.6 million tonnes / year each). Our client is in charge of their design and construction.

Particular achievement was the design and fabrication of large size equipment properly reinforced to withstand stringent design pressure, external loads and very low operating conditions with limited to weight for installation in the modules.

The last equipment was delivered to our Client in May 2021 and will be shipped to Russia, on the Gydan peninsula, for integration into the modules of the last train.
